ADOPT A TREE
Our tree adoption program is great way to reconnect with mother nature and it’s completely free!
How does it work?
We work with the city of Los Angeles to have trees planted in select neighborhoods. Usually locations where tree coverage is scarce.
The trees are then granted permits by the city and planted in their new homes!
(Soon we will have planting volunteer opportunities — stay tuned!)
Next, it’s time for adoption! Adopting a tree is FREE and simply a commitment to watering it once week. Each tree needs about 10-15 gallons of water weekly during it’s first few years of life.
We provide you with two 7 ounce water jugs to help assure you know how much water to give your new friend. Did we mention you get to name you’re tree?
And that’s it! You get to nourish your tree and watch it grow while enjoying all the benefits of urban tree coverage.
All of our trees are currently adopted! We can’t thank you enough for the overwhelming support in such a short amount of time!
Is there empty space in your neighborhood where trees should be planted? Let us know! We are quickly expanding to other locations across the Los Angeles area.
